Powder snow, fresh mountain air and cozy mountain huts: the Lötschental is a small, fine skiing paradise. In one of the most snow-sure Alpine valleys in Switzerland, the sunny Lauchernalp ski area offers 40 kilometers of perfectly groomed pistes up to 3,100 m above sea level. The wide range of difficulty levels from blue to black pistes(to the piste map >) makes the ski area ideal for families. The Cool School snow sports school offers courses at various levels and - for the very youngest guests - childcare.
An alpine insider tip.
The Lauchernalp is very popular with ski mountaineers! Freeriders and ski tourers can enjoy fantastic deep-snow slopes and attractive summit tours amidst the impressive mountain scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
