A hotel born out of solidarity.

When the landslide in Blatten destroyed very important parts of the valley's tourist infrastructure in spring 2025, an idea was born:
A new hotel on the Lauchernalp - quickly, sustainably and jointly realized.

This is how Momentum - the Lauchernalp Lodge was born: a place for guests, community and new perspectives.

The Lötschentaler - a cooperation on the move.

Momentum is part of the hotel cooperation "Die Lötschentaler".
Together with the committed hosts of the Hotel Edelweiss and the Nest- and Bietschhorn, the far-sighted Lauchernalp mountain railroad and the canton of Valais, the project is supported and promoted.

This partnership stands for genuine values: regionality, quality and mutual support.

Architecture with attitude

The hotel is being built as a modular timber construction - manufactured by Swiss companies, resource-conserving and flexible.
In this way, Momentum remains flexible in the best sense of the word: sustainably conceived, temporarily built, with a lasting character.
