Anniversary book.

GastFREUNDschaften.

This was the title of a book published at the beginning of July 2018 to mark the 150th anniversary of the Hotel Nest- und Bietschhorn in Ried. The hotel's existence over three centuries was reason enough to honor the hotel and its people with a book. Who are they, the people who had a relationship with the hotel, guests, hoteliers and employees? Who knows their experiences and stories? They are told in the book "GastFREUNDschaften" and accompanied by photos and other exciting documents.

The book of short stories was initiated and published by Helene Bellwald, a former hotelier. She invested a lot of time and passion.

Like everything else, the remaining copies of the book are buried under the masses of the landslide in Ried. We have been approached from various sides with the request for a reprint. In order to order a reprint in the first half of 2026 with the appropriate quantity, an order can be placed using the form below. The book price will be between CHF 35 - 45, depending on the size of the print run.

Incidentally, the 2024 vintage of our red wine Amitié will be bottled as planned.
